Well, it appears as if Sony has finally replaced good ol’ 003. It has recently come to my attention that there is currently available, and even widely promoted, instrument of death on the market. The government has as of yet refused to step in and do anything to help protect people from it! The device, small enough to fit in ones hand, can be adapted easily to allow for better concealment. Many people have them in their homes, but there can be no doubt! It is indeed a deadly weapon! Some may argue that they need it, but if it kills innocents, how badly can they possibly need it!? 

This device can take many forms also, it can be large and obvious, yet unassuming, or it has be just a small thing ignored in part of a house, yet this is what makes it so dangerous, at first glance it doesn’t appear dangerous at all!

The devices always use a certain elemental compound, a simple 2 elements. The device may simply store the compound, or it may be modified to actually SPRAY the compound around! The devices can easily be mounted on planes or other vehicles, and have been used for many intentional assaults in the past. It also lead to 3,308 accidental deaths in 2004!

Surely there are those out there that agree with me, right!?! 

No? Heres another statistic, in 2004, of all deaths for children ages 1-4, these devices accounted for 26% of the fatalities! It is estimated that for every death due to these devices and the compound they use that there are 1 to 4 injuries leading to hospitalization! 

19% of Childrens deaths related to the device occur around certified safety professionals even! 

Surely everyone is now with me on banning these devices and the compound they use?!

So, why do some of you feel it’s fair to ban guns or ammo just because criminals don’t obey the laws saying it’s illegal to use them in a crime already?

Get this image into your head, a small castle like estate in Vermont, surrounded by forest in the height of winter, couple feet of snow piled up, and nice and quiet. No rush to dig out to get anywhere, just sitting in your home by a fire, staying warm and comfy. 

Sounds nice huh? 

Well thats basically the only time I can see myself liking snow. It’s also my dream living location…

However picture this. Suburbs, decent sized snow storm, large driveway and good sized area of sidewalk to clear. No snow blower, just shovels. And it NEEDS to be cleared. Yea, thats my CURRENT situation. I’ve been out 4 times since friday to shovel snow, my back, is killing me. Given my CURRENT circumstances, I hate the snow…

Also, Happy Hanukkah to any Jewish readers! I know it’s a bit late, but I just had to look up when it started and realized it started yesterday.

Well, after having my 360 for well over a year, it got the RROD. Well, waited a few minutes, tried turning it on again, nothing. Go to microsoft sites, see I can apply for the repair online, asks for the serial number, no problem, I know I haven’t had it that long. What? My warrenty expired september 10th?! Oh and damn wouldn’t you know I don’t have the receipt still? So no way to contest it. Fine..how much are repairs..$100.00….The system has the 20gig harddrive, it’s not worth $250.00 as it stands, heck I wouldn’t pay $100.00 for it used from someone else, yet here I am, being told either to pay $100.00 or go screw…yea. Well, it looks like I have a paperweight that is the size and shape of an XBox now. Because I’m not paying for the repair fee, can’t contest the warrenty, and can’t afford a new console. 

Best part? I got the Call of Duty World at War Collectors Edition with double experience that started 3 and a half hours ago from this post. I got into one match and got 1 kill before the system froze and the restart got me the RROD. It’s a week long double XP. Isn’t that nice?
