Yea, two posts in one day, amazing huh?

Well lately I’ve been posting on the COD:WaW forums, it’s something to do to pass the time, and there’s one specific thing people have been doing that annoys the crap out of me.

Spreading misinformation. A few minutes ago someone posted in a thread saying that Katanas should have been put in game for multiplayer, regardless of the idea, he used the term ‘Wield a sword’ or something along those lines in the post. Well some guy decided he would try to look smart, and said and I quote “not wield a sword but yield a sword” Amazing huh, he somehow thinks that when you use a sword, it means you’re yielding it.

It’s not just this case either, I have no idea how many times I’ve been told that it is not possible to eject a clip from an M1 Garand before all 8 shots have been fired, or that the M1A1 carbine is the standard variation and has the full wooden stock!

Look people, if you don’t know something, don’t act like you do! Because if you do it around me I will call you out if I know you’re wrong, and you will end up looking like an idiot. Even if I’m not the one that does it, odds are you will eventually get called out anyways, so DONT DO IT!

Sitting here on my laptop at 2am, just read the latest CAD comic, and thinking. I know, risky venture, but I decided to do it anyways. Now a thought popped into my head, many people are against video games for a variety of reasons, right? Most claim that they make kids lazy and not willing to do anything. Well, that may be true in a few cases, however most gamers aren’t like that. Now heres the irony, theres some OTHER nutjobs out there who at the same time try to claim that violent games turn kids violent, which I don’t get given the above…

How is it, that video games will make a lazy person that will end up a murderer? Is there a new breed of gamer I’ve yet to see that goes around in a mobile couch murdering people?

That’s all…my random thought.
